WOMEN IN ENERGY: MOROCCO

A Wellbeing Diplomacy Journey. Six days for renewal, insight and relationships that reach beyond borders.

Six days that bring together care for yourself and the art of building meaningful relationships.
First, Morocco offers space to restore your energy, feel nourished and settle into the present. Then, conversations with Moroccan partners unfold in an atmosphere of trust, openness and genuine human connection.

We see Morocco as a country where remarkably different environments meet within a relatively small area. For this journey, we have chosen two that complement one another: Marrakech, a vibrant city of tranquil riads, and the Atlas Mountains.

Marrakech awakens the senses and draws you into the rhythm of the country. The Atlas Mountains invite you to slow down, feel grounded and rediscover a sense of calm. Together, they create a journey from release to clarity.

OUR INTENTION

This journey creates space to step out of the usual pace, rest and restore your energy, while also widening your perspective on your field.

It is an investment in yourself, your leadership and the relationships that can shape what comes next.

WHAT THE JOURNEY OFFERS

Time to slow down and renew. Marrakech and the Atlas offer the body a chance to rest and the mind room to breathe. A change of pace can bring you back to the present, where new thoughts and decisions have space to emerge.

Insight at first hand. Morocco is pursuing an ambitious energy transition and strengthening its role as a bridge between Africa and Europe. You will encounter this changing landscape through conversations with the people shaping it.

Fresh perspectives on leadership. Conversations with women leading in a sector often perceived as male-dominated bring new insight into the ways leadership is practised, experienced and strengthened.

Meaningful connections. The journey creates opportunities to connect with Moroccan partners and with one another. Shared experiences beyond the workplace allow trust and conversation to develop in their own time.

A wider view of your field. Time away from familiar settings can help new questions come into focus and reveal possibilities that are harder to see at home.

WHY JOIN THE CHAMBER?

Because we bring wellbeing and diplomacy into the same journey. The Chamber’s relationships open the way to conversations with Moroccan partners and institutions, while our deep understanding of the country helps shape experiences that invite you to rest, reconnect and take in Morocco at your own pace.

You return rested and enriched, with new perspectives and relationships that can continue to grow.

WELLBEING  DIPLOMACY RETREAT

A DAY OF DIPLOMACY

The programme also includes a dedicated day of diplomacy.

Often perceived as a traditionally male-dominated society, Morocco is advancing its energy transition with women playing an increasingly significant role. From the first woman to serve as Speaker of Parliament to women leading ministries, institutions, universities and companies, women are helping shape the country’s future through their own approaches to leadership.

Meeting women in leadership offers a chance to hear their perspectives and learn how women’s leadership takes shape in a context where it has not always been expected. Their experiences can open new ways of thinking about leadership, professional practice and cooperation.

WELLBEING AUTHENTIC MOROCCO

Over six days, Moroccan culture is not simply the backdrop to the programme. It becomes part of how we discover the country, how we feel within it and how we connect with one another. Marrakech and the Atlas form a natural arc for the retreat: the city awakens the senses and brings fresh inspiration, while the mountains invite you to slow down, feel grounded and let those impressions settle.

MARRAKECH — A CITY THAT PULSES

Marrakech speaks to you before you have time to put it into words. Light falls across the red city walls, the air carries the scents of spices, orange blossom and mint tea, and the medina hums with the rhythm of everyday life. Every alley, artisan workshop and shared table reveals another part of the city’s story.

You can experience Marrakech through traditional crafts, Moroccan cuisine and encounters with the people who keep its culture alive. A cleansing hammam ritual and natural beauty ingredients offer time devoted to your body and to caring for yourself. There is also space for gardens, cafés, exceptional restaurants, shopping, tennis or golf. Marrakech offers an abundance of inspiration, along with places where the day’s energy gives way to calm.

For women working in the energy sector, an encounter with Morocco can also offer a fresh perspective. The sun that bathes the city in golden light shines over a country actively shaping its energy future. Experiencing the city can naturally open up new ideas and conversations about work you know from the inside.

THE ATLAS — A PLACE WHERE IMPRESSIONS SETTLE

As the landscape rises towards the mountains, the rhythm of the journey begins to change. Open spaces, fresh mountain air and the sound of water in the streams invite you to slow down and reconnect with what matters. Life in the Atlas is closely linked to nature and to the thoughtful use of water, land and what the landscape provides.

A day here might include gentle movement in nature, time to unwind by the pool or an encounter with local culture and hospitality. During a Berber cooking class, you can discover Morocco through its aromas, flavours and the shared preparation of a meal. Tea or lunch can become a moment for conversation to unfold naturally, without hurry or expectation.

A JOURNEY SHAPED AROUND YOU

Marrakech and the Atlas are not a fixed checklist of experiences. We shape the journey in conversation with you, with care for the group’s interests and the time you wish to give yourself. Some days may be filled with discovery; others may leave room for rest, a shared table or silence. The result is a journey that lets you truly experience Morocco — while finding your own way to restore your energy within it.

The Journey.

Six days to experience, understand and connect with Morocco from within.
